Matthew Dennis is a portfolio manager and lead manager of Aim Global Growth Fund. He is also affiliated with the management of Aim European Growth Fund, Aim International Growth Fund, Aim V.I. International Growth Fund and Aim International ADR Growth Portfolio.

Mr. Dennis began his investment career in 1994 as an analyst working on the equity strategy desk at Hoare Govett Securities in London, England. In 1996, he was promoted to European equity strategist at the investment banking arm of ABN AMRO (the Dutch acquirer of Hoare Govett). He held this role from 1996 to 1999 providing recommended market, sector and stock allocations to European fund managers. In 2000, Mr. Dennis was promoted to the global equity strategy desk of ABN AMRO to help develop and market a global, earnings momentum-driven strategy to international investors.

In the fall of that same year, he returned from England to join Aim as a senior portfolio analyst on Aim's international (Europe/Canada) investment management team, focusing primarily on non-U.S. based, large and mid cap stocks. He assumed his current duties in 2003.

Mr. Dennis received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science degree in finance from Texas A&M University. He is a CFA charterholder.
